There is a biopic in the works that will profile the life and career of punk rocker, Ian Dury. The film will be titled "Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll", which was a huge hit single for him in 1977. Dury is going to be portrayed by veteran actor Andy Serkis, who is best known for his work in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy as Gollum. The film will focus on Dury's early life dealing with polio and then how he became a founding member of the British Punk Rock movement in the mid-1970s. The other cast members include Ray Winstone as Dury's father and Naomie Harris as his girlfriend. Harris is from the second and third "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies playing Tia Dalma. The film has yet to get a release date, but it will probably be released in either 2009 or 2010.
