If you didn't know, they are developing a Green Lantern film that has a June 17, 2011 release date. The film will be written by "Eli Stone" creators, Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim and directed by "Casino Royale" and "GoldenEye" director, Martin Campbell. Right now three actors are in the running to portray Hal Jordan/Green Lantern, Ryan Gosling, Chris Pine, and the favorite Bradley Cooper. My first reaction was Ryan Gosling, but that was before I saw "Star Trek" and was able to see how good of an actor Chris Pine was. I think Pine could be great as the Green Lantern and could carry another film franchise. Right now, Cooper is in lead, but I don't think that he can handle a film franchise due to the fact he has never been a lead in a movie.
