The Wolfman: Upcoming 2.12.2010
Joe Johnston's remake of "The Wolfman" starring Bencio del Toro has recently moved its release date from November 6, 2009 to February 12, 2010. This is the fourth time that "The Wolfman" has changed its release date. Johnston had previously directed films "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids", "Jumanji", and "October Sky". Besides Del Toro the cast includes Anthony Hopkins, Emily Blunt, Hugo Weaving, and Geraldine Chaplin, the daughter of Charlie Chaplin. The film was written by "Seven" and "Sleepy Hollow" writer Andrew Kevin Walker, with rewrites done by "Road to Perdition" writer David Self. The movie takes place in the 1880s and keeps the same plot as the original film that was released in 1941. It is never good when a movie keeps changing release dates, but lets see what happens. I liked those other movies he did when I was younger but I'm not so sure of liking that type of movie now.
ReplyDeleteAlso them pushing the release date more than once sounds like a bad thing to me.
